Startups are usually admitted in batches, with many accelerators offering 1-3 batches per year. Some focus on a specific industry, market, technology, stage, or other thesis, whereas others are more generalists. Most seek to run an application and screening process. AdWords

Google AdWords assist advertisers in marketing products or services in the Google Search Engine. Advertisers bid on selected words that may appear in searches. If a search includes the advertiser’s AdWord, then an ad for the advertiser may appear on the top or bottom of the Search Results. The ads take the format of a short text ad that includes a title line, two short descriptive lines and a URL link to a website or a specific website page. The ad appears as a “sponsored link”. The system is a “pay per click” system, whereby you only pay the amount you have bid for if someone clicks on your ad as a result of a web search, i.e. pay per click.
